“Celebrating Wildlife”- An Investigative Biodiversity Workshop Series:

Come and learn fascinating facts about plants and wildlife that make our gardens, parks and forests their home! This half-day workshop provides children with the opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with both living and preserved specimens, participate in fun-filled, hands-on activities and go on guided walks to seek out wildlife in the Gardens. This “Celebrating Wildlife” Series is jointly organised by Singapore Botanic Gardens and Cicada Tree EcoPlace.

Our Wild Isle – Leaping Lizards and Slithering Snakes

Learn about the diversity of reptiles in Singapore, their life cycle, where they live, what they eat, what may eat them, and the threats they face daily. Participants will be introduced to Singapore’s native reptile species and will also have the opportunity to view preserved museum specimens. Children participants will also get to bring home their hand-made art and craft pieces.
