Choosing the right plants, watering regimes, as well as the use of fertilisers, re-potting, pruning and other general plant care techniques will be covered in this comprehensive basic course. Participants will be led on a guided tour around the Tanglin Core of Singapore Botanic Gardens to learn and discuss about the different type of plants. The alternative Hydroculture (soil-free) approach will also be introduced in this workshop.
This workshop is suitable for:
- Gardening enthusiasts who would like to sharpen their basic gardening skills
- Beginners with no background in gardening
- Tertiary students and adult hobbyists
