Rain Forest Trek (A Guided Tour)

This tour will give you fascinating insights into this last remnant of the same forest that used to cover the whole of Singapore Island. The Gardens’ 6-hectare Rain Forest has a long historic record dating from 1880 when Henry Ridley (the Gardens’ first Director) collected plants and toadstools from it. Today, the Rain Forest is home to more than 300 plant species of which most are endangered, rare or vulnerable. You will hear stories and learn secrets about these giant trees and rare plants in the context of the fragile and unique rainforest ecosystem, comprising both the plants and animals. Come and join us for a unique trekking experience in the Singapore Botanic Gardens Rain Forest!
