Nature through the Lens
(A Parent-and-Child Nature Photography Workshop)
Ever wonder what nature looks like through your child’s eyes? This school holiday, discover the beauty of “Nature through the Lens” with your little shutterbugs at this workshop. Designed to stimulate your child’s curiosity and develop their passion in nature and photography, this half-day workshop collaborates with the Nature Photographic Society of Singapore (NPSS) to equip you and your child with basic photography skills and simple techniques in nature photography. Capture the scenic beauty of the flora and fauna in the Singapore Botanic Gardens and don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to bond with your child over nature!
Suitable for parents and children (between 10 and 13 years old) to attend together

Time : 9:00am – 1:00pm
Fee : $120.00 per pair
Location : Botany Centre, Tanglin Core of the Singapore Botanic Gardens
Note to parents attending the workshop
Each parent and child pair should come equipped with at least 1 Digital Compact Camera or Digital SLR, to be shared between parent and child. Strictly no handphone camera will be allowed. To get the most out of the workshop, it is preferred if parents can bring the following equipment as well, 1) Tripod, 2) Macro Lens.
