“Celebrating Wildlife”- An Investigative Biodiversity Workshop Series:

Come and learn fascinating facts about plants and wildlife that make our gardens, parks and forests their home! This half-day workshop provides children with the opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with both living and preserved specimens, participate in fun-filled, hands-on activities and go on guided walks to seek out wildlife in the Gardens. This “Celebrating Wildlife” Series is jointly organised by Singapore Botanic Gardens and Cicada Tree EcoPlace.


Our Wild Isles – Wild Plants and  Animals of Singapore and Madagascar

(An Investigative Biodiversity Workshop)

Highlighting the native plants and animals of the island we call our home, this workshop will focus on islands and island habitats in Singapore. Participants will also be introduced to another special island of the world -- Madagascar, to see the fascinating habitats that occur on this island and the strange animals and plants that call this unique island their home. What are the similarities and differences between Singapore and Madagascar? Participants will also have the chance to examine preserved museum specimens during this workshop. 


Suitable for children in K1 – P6 levels
