Planted tanks are a great way to enhance your home or office aesthetically. Regardless of size or design, they are sure to add a dash of colour and liven up your living and work space. This workshop will help participants to get started on their first planted tank and equip them with the basics of growing aquatic plants. It will cover the steps and necessary items required to set up a planted tank, and teach participants how to put them together. In addition, participants will be introduced to common aquarium plants and learn how to grow and take care of them. Participants who are interested in introducing fauna into the tanks can also discover some possible fauna that can be added.
This workshop is suitable for:
- Gardening enthusiasts who would like to explore other areas of gardening
- Tertiary students and adult hobbyists
- Beginners with no background in planted tank
